You may encounter a &quot;Playback error&quot; as you try to watch STARZ on a computer or laptop. We recommend trying the following things:<ul><li>Ensure you are based in the US and not using a proxy or VPN</li><li>Run an internet speed test on <a href="https://www.speedtest.net">https://www.speedtest.net</a> as your download speed needs to be at least 2 Mbps (6 Mbps is recommended)</li><li>Test multiple titles on STARZ in case the error only happens with one particular title</li><li>Turn off any anti-virus or firewall software (that is not the default Windows service) and test STARZ again</li></ul>If you continue to get the error, then we recommend clearing your browser cache:<ul><li>Log out of the STARZ website</li><li>Clear the browser cache<ul><li>If you are using the Safari browser, clear out the history as well</li></ul></li><li>Log back into the website</li><li>Attempt to play a title</li><li>If that fails, try a different browser<ul><li>If an alternative browser works, then you have isolated the problem to the browser</li></ul></li><li>If a different browser does not work, try a different device. I get a playback error when watching STARZ on a computer or laptop

You may encounter a problem when trying to watch STARZ content on a Chromebook laptop or a computer running Chrome OS.To fix this, try:<ul><li>Select the web browser&#39;s three stacked dots (upper right-hand side)</li><li>Select Settings</li><li>In the search setting box at the top, enter Content Settings</li><li>Scroll toward the bottom of the search list and select Content Settings</li><li>Scroll down and choose Protected Content</li><li>Under the allowed list, you should see starz.com</li><li>Select the trash can option for all STARZ references</li><li>Close Settings,&nbsp;reopen Chrome and head back to starz.com</li><li>Choose your title to play again.</li><li>You will get a prompt saying STARZ wants your device&#39;s identity to be verified.</li><li>Select Block</li><li>Your title will start, and you can now enjoy the STARZ site on your Chromebook</li></ul>If you continue to experience problems, please contact our Customer Care team by clicking on the Contact Us button.&nbsp;&nbsp;

You may encounter a spinning icon when you try loading the STARZ website on a computer or laptop. The problem tends to be related to a bad cache file, so we recommend clearing the browser cache to resolve the issue.
