How to clear cache on computer browsers.

Many issues on the starz.com website can be resolved by clearing out the browser cache and cookies

Note: STARZ only supports the use of Chrome, Edge Firefox, and Safari. Browsers like Internet Explorer, Chromium, Vivaldi, Torch, Maxthon, UC Browser, Opera, and others are not supported browsers.

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome                                                      
  2. On your browser toolbar, click the three stacked dots
  3. Point to ‘More tools'
  4. Then click ‘Clear browsing data’
  5. In the ‘Clear browsing data’ box, click the checkboxes for ‘Cookies and other site and plug-in data and ‘Cached images and files’
  6. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete
  7. Choose ‘beginning of time’to delete everything
  8. Click ‘Clear browsing data’

Edge

  1. Click on the 3-lined ‘Hub’ button in the top right corner
  2. Click on the clock-shaped ‘History’ button
  3. Click on ‘Clear History’
  4. Then on ‘Show more’
  5. Select the following
  • ‘Browsing history’
  • ‘Cookies and saved website data’
  • ‘Cached data and files’
  • ‘Media licenses’
  • Click on the ‘Clear’ button

Firefox

  1. Click the menu button   from the upper right-hand side
  2. Select ‘Options’
  3. On the left side of the page, select ‘privacy and security’
  4. Under ‘Cached Web Content’
  5. Select ‘Clear Now’

Safari

  1. Click ‘Safari’ on the upper left-hand side of your screen
  2. In the menu that appears, click ‘Preferences’
  3. In the window that appears, click the ‘Privacy’ tab
  4. Click the button ‘Remove All Website Data’
  5. Click ‘Remove Now’ in the pop-up window that appears
