I cannot log in, Error "incorrect email or password."

The following will cover some common issues that can cause the "incorrect email or password" error.

Things that might prevent you from signing in

  • The account was started with a different email or password
  • The subscription requires the use of the 'TV Providers' option
  • The subscription does not include access to the STARZ app
  • You are on a VPN, proxy, or otherwise outside of the US

The account was started with a different email or password

Verify that you are using the correct information and attempt to reset your password. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, select the Log In with Apple/Google option.  


Your subscription requires the use of the 'TV Providers' option

If subscribed through a cable or satellite provider, Hulu, or YouTube TV, you must select 'Log in with TV Providers' from the login screen and select your provider. More directions can be found in our 'How do I log in' article.


Your subscription does not include access to the STARZ app

Subscriptions through Amazon Channels, Roku Channels, and a few other providers do not provide access to our app. If you are unsure if your subscription includes access, drop us a line, and we will be glad to let you know.

 

You are on a VPN, proxy, or otherwise outside of the US

Please note: STARZ does not allow access to our services if you are outside the US or on VPN or proxy.
